What was the highlight of I Residence Hotel Silom
Comfy beds and pillows in a very central location
The staff is very helpful, and the location couldn't be better (it is right in front of the MahaNakhon building and close to many convenience stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and the Silom night market area). Service was impeccable, and the hotel was clean and tidy overall.
The pool water was freezing, you could barely stand inside it after a while. The room could be swept more frequently and cleaned more thoroughly as you should be barefoot when in it to respect Asian customs unless you decide to wear slippers all the time and we found dust on almost every surface. Also, the windows don't seem soundproof as we could hear the street noises quite loudly on the 8th floor. Maybe it was the setting of our room but the electricity sockets were in very inaccessible places (like under our bedside drawer and we needed to lay down on the floor to access them). It looks like an old renovated room because the wood panels are scratched everywhere.

I liked the location. It's convenient to go to different places by BTS. I liked also the breakfast menu. And the room was clean and spacious.
I didn't get to swim because it was being maintained. I would have liked it if this information was boldly stated.

What was the highlight of I Residence Hotel Silom
Okay for short stay
Been staying here for quite a awhile in past trips. Location is perfect next to BTS and within walking distance to Silom, which makes it choice of stay. But other than this, that’s about it.
Really aged in terms of the room furniture, bathroom and amenities in the room. The hairdryer bare runs, hot water takes awhile to get hot and difficult to adjust and though the seating sofa is new, it is hard and uncomfortable (as mentioned have stayed in many times before hence the comparison ). And the bed, though a king sized, was joined by two singles which leads to a passage in between if you move too much.
